Flooring
Vinyl, LVT, laminate, engineered wood and commercial carpet, laid on a properly prepared subfloor.
A floor is only as good as what is underneath it. We check levels, dry the substrate where needed, latex or ply the subfloor and then lay the finish, which is why our floors do not lift, telegraph or creak six months later. We fit domestic and commercial flooring across the East Midlands.
Subfloor preparation
We lift the old covering, remove adhesive residue and check the subfloor for level, moisture and movement. Screeds are latexed where required and timber floors are overboarded, because most flooring failures we get called out to are subfloor problems rather than product problems.
Domestic flooring
For homes we fit LVT, laminate, engineered wood, vinyl and carpet, with the right underlay and expansion gaps for the room. Doors are eased, thresholds are fitted and skirting or scotia is finished neatly so the edges look intentional.
Commercial flooring
For offices, washrooms and retail we fit safety vinyl, contract carpet tiles and commercial LVT with the correct slip ratings and coved skirtings where hygiene demands it. We phase the work so areas come back into use as quickly as possible.

Questions about flooring
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes. Lifting the existing covering, scraping back any adhesive and taking the waste away is included in our flooring quotations unless we agree otherwise with you.
Can you fit flooring over underfloor heating?
We can. We select products rated for underfloor heating and follow the commissioning and warm up procedure so the floor is not damaged by being brought up to temperature too quickly.
How soon can we walk on the new floor?
Most floating floors can be used the same day. Fully bonded LVT and safety vinyl need the adhesive to cure, which usually means light foot traffic after twenty four hours and furniture back after forty eight.
