Interior and exterior decorating with proper preparation, from single rooms to full commercial redecoration.
Good decorating is mostly preparation. We fill, sand, caulk and prime properly before any finish coat goes on, which is why our work still looks right a few years later. We decorate homes, offices, retail units and communal areas across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and the surrounding counties.
Preparation comes first
Walls are washed down, cracks are cut out and filled, holes are made good, woodwork is sanded and knots are treated. Anything that is not being painted is masked and covered, and floors are protected for the full duration. Only then do we start cutting in.
Commercial and communal decorating
For offices, retail units, communal hallways and stairwells we work to a programme that keeps the space usable. That often means low odour paints, evening or weekend working, and clear signage for anyone using the building while we are on site.
Exterior decorating
Exterior work covers rendered and masonry walls, fascias, soffits, windows and doors. We prepare back to a sound surface, treat any rot or corrosion, prime correctly and use exterior grade systems suited to the substrate rather than whatever happens to be on the van.

Questions about decorating
Do you supply the paint or do I?
Either works. We buy through trade accounts so we can usually supply at a better price than retail, but if you have already chosen colours and bought the paint we are happy to work with it.
How much preparation is included in your quote?
Our quotations state the preparation included, normally washing down, filling, caulking, sanding and priming bare areas. If a wall needs more extensive repair we tell you before we start rather than after.
Can you decorate our offices out of hours?
Yes. Evening and weekend decorating is common on our commercial jobs and we use low odour paints so the space is usable again the next morning.
