What a commercial refurbishment with us involves
We start by walking the space with you and setting the layout out on the floor so everyone can see exactly where the partitions, desks and doorways land before a single fixing goes in. From there we handle the strip out, any partitioning and ceiling work, first and second fix by our trade partners, floor coverings, decoration and the final clean. You get one point of contact and one quotation covering every trade on site.
Working around a live building
Most of our commercial clients cannot close for the duration of the works. We phase refurbishments floor by floor or room by room, agree dust and noise controls up front, and where it suits the site we work evenings and weekends. Access, parking, deliveries, waste removal and welfare are all agreed in writing before we start, so there are no surprises for your facilities team.

AJS Refurbishments is CHAS accredited and carries 5 million pounds of insurance cover. You get risk assessments and method statements for the works, certification from the trades we bring in, and a written programme with dates you can share with your own stakeholders.

Can you refurbish our offices while we are still working in them?
Yes. We phase the work so that only one area is out of use at a time, screen the working zone to control dust, and agree noisy operations for outside core hours. Most commercial refurbishments we run are carried out in occupied buildings.
Do you handle all the trades or do we need to appoint them separately?
We manage every trade on the project. Electricians, plumbers, ceiling fitters, flooring and decorators all sit under our quotation and our programme, so you deal with one company and receive one set of invoices.
Are you insured for commercial sites?
We hold 5 million pounds of insurance cover and we are CHAS accredited. We can send our certificates, risk assessments and method statements to your facilities or health and safety team before we come to site.
